Partnership with the University of East Anglia
The University of East Anglia validates the professional degrees taught by The Royal Marsden School, which offers a range of sector-leading post-registration and postgraduate degrees for healthcare professionals including nurses and allied health professionals.
Students who successfully complete the validated courses will be awarded a UEA degree qualification.
Accreditation of Prior Learning
The Royal Marsden School delivers a flexible programme of degree and master’s qualifications. From previous study, you may already hold accredited qualifications; these may be integrated into a degree or master’s pathway.
Prior learning may be evaluated and accredited against particular learning outcomes of courses or modules within a programmes degree. An academic subject specialist will consider your earlier learning, and will confirm the credit value if the learning is relevant to your programme of study.
The Royal Marsden School is only able to consider formal learning undertaken and assessed within the previous five years and at an institution which we recognise.

The School Board
The School is overseen by a Board, the objective of which is to provide The School with quality assurance, strategic advice and support to ensure that high quality, contemporary, clinically relevant education is offered and delivered.

Complaints
The Royal Marsden School is committed to the provision of an effective and timely process for the resolution of complaints. We aim to ensure that there are clear policies and procedures for the handling of complaints and that appropriate expertise and resources are available.
If you are a student at the school your complaint will either be dealt with via the Academic Appeal policy or by the Complaints Procedure. Information on both can be found on Moodle and in the Student Handbook.
If you are not a student but have a complaint, please submit your complaint in email or writing to Director of School, Dr. Rebecca Verity.
